PRAYER ROOM: We have created a prayer room in what was the mother's room in the rear of the sanctuary. As we journey through the Spiritual Disciplines in the next weeks and months, please feel free to use this space for meditation, prayer, study or solitude. When you arrive to use it, pick up a key for the sanctuary from the church office and then return it to the office when you leave. May God bless you as you enter His presence.

ATTENTION ALL MEN: if you are interested in being part of a group of men who are learning how to follow Christ in our current day and age, please contact Greg West. We will be meeting weekly on Wednesday evenings through December (perfect attendance is not required). During this season we will be reading the book "Celebration of Discipline" and seeking relevant ways to grow deeper in our walk with Christ. It doesn't matter where you are at in the journey...only that you are interested in taking the first step...
YOUTH MINISTRY eSCRIPT: A couple of years ago many of you registered your VONS Club card, debit card and/or credit cards with eScript. It is time to renew! Or if you have never registered we ask that you consider it. This is an easy fundraising tool for us and it costs you nothing. CALLING ALL MEN!!! The Men's Conference at Alpine Conference Center is November 7-9. It's not too early to start making plans. Clear your calendars and join with fellow Covenanters from the Western Region for a fun filled weekend that will challenge you in your Christian Walk. The theme is Trustworthy Men. Cost is $155 for the weekend, which includes hearty gourmet meals, mental and spiritual enrichment and tons of fellowship. NURSERY REMODEL UPDATE: The nursery is coming along beautifully!! Thank you SO much to all the dedicated workers. Construction of an opening and new doorway are complete. The new paint is up and looking cheery. We started the new curriculum last week and the children were happily engaged. To hear those little voices say and sing "God loves me" is quite a blessing. We hope to raise about $3,500 for the final phase which includes new flooring, training potty area and finishing touches. LANDSCAPING: Volunteers needed to help with the landscaping at church. A few volunteers are needed to help with weeding and sprinkler repair as well as weekly maintenance. If you able to help please contact the church office by calling (858) 279-6130 or email: info@clairemontcov.org.
HELP CENTER: If you know of anyone in our church with a long-term or serious illness or disability who needs help, please call Polly Brown and she will find HELP CENTER volunteers who are ready to provide assistance. The HELP CENTER can provide help with transportation, shopping, meals, visitation, laundry or house cleaning.
